Do you have a showroom?
Midwest Blind & Shade is a Hunter Douglas Centurian Gallery in Mishawaka, Indiana. Our showroom welcomes walk-ins and scheduled consultations. We also have a shop-at-home location in the greater South Bend/lower Michigan area and Fort Wayne, Indiana.
What does your shop-at-home service in Fort Wayne include?
Our shop-at-home service is a free in-home consultation, which includes measuring, making templates of specialty-shaped windows, assisting with choosing the window treatments that meet the needs of your lifestyle, home decor, and budget, quoting, and ordering. We always have the current, entire line of Hunter Douglas window fashions: shutters, shades, blinds, draperies, including Carole Fabrics, and motorization with Smart Home technology.
How long is an in-home consultation?
Consultations can take anywhere between 15 minutes to a few hours, depending on whether we're measuring a few windows or the whole house.
What makes Hunter Douglas window treatments special?

Do you install blinds, shades, and shutters?
Yes, we provide installation and recommend you take advantage of our certified installers who are also Hunter Douglas PowerView Motorization professionals. If you'd prefer to install it yourself, that is also an option.
Do you repair blinds, shades, and shutters?
Midwest Blind & Shade is a Hunter Douglas authorized service center, meaning we repair only Hunter Douglas window treatments, no matter where they were purchased. This includes repairs for blinds, shades, and shutters. Replacing one broken shade can be difficult due to dye lots, age, etc., so we are committed to helping homeowners save money by repairing any Hunter Douglas product that is possible.
How long does it take to get Hunter Douglas window treatments?
After your appointment, your order is typically installed within 4-5 weeks, although specialty-shaped windows may take longer.
Do Hunter Douglas window treatments come with a warranty?
All Hunter Douglas products come with a lifetime warranty.
